National information and online forms concerning Regulation No. 861/2007.
Council Regulation 861/2007 of 11 July 2007 establishing a European Small Claims Procedure seeks to improve and simplify procedures in civil and commercial matters where the value of a claim does not exceed 5000 €.
The Regulation applies between all Member States of the European Union with the exception of Denmark.
The Small claims procedure operates on the basis of standard forms. It is a written procedure unless an oral hearing is considered necessary by the court.
The Regulation also establishes time limits for the parties and for the court in order to speed up litigation.
The Regulation provides for four standard forms.

Submission of forms to competent authority
Completed forms should be sent to the relevant competent authority in a manner required by the authority. More information on the contact details for competent authorities, relevant national legislature etc. can be found in the European Judicial Atlas section. This page includes a search tool to find the competent authorities to which to send completed forms.

À partir du 1er janvier 2021, le Royaume-Uni n’est plus un État membre de l’UE. Toutefois, en matière de justice civile, les procédures en cours et les procédures ouvertes avant la fin de la période de transition se poursuivront en vertu du droit de l’Union. Jusqu’à la fin de 2024, le Royaume-Uni peut continuer à être sélectionné dans les formulaires (dynamiques) en ligne aux fins de ces procédures. Le Royaume-Uni ne devrait toutefois pas être sélectionné dans les formulaires joints aux documents publics, qui constituent l’exception à cette règle.
