About this service
You can get information about companies registered in business registers in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway using the ‘Find a company’ service.
It is part of the Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS), set up in line with Directive 2012/17/EU and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/884.

The company information provided on the European e-Justice Portal through the Business Register Interconnection System (BRIS) is gathered in real time from the business registers of the Member States, without any fees for companies. If you receive a suspicious letter coming from BRIS, the European e-Justice Portal or the Commission, please contact us immediately on just-bris-helpdesk@ec.europa.eu. Never pay any money to the sender.
How it works
To search for a company:
- Search by company number and/or registration number.
- You’ll see a list of results matching your search with basic company information.
- You can then ask to see more details about a company.
- The system will show you a list of available information filed by the company with the national business register.
For example:- articles of association
- annual accounts
- capital subscribed
- the company’s legal representatives.
- Select the document(s) you want and add them to your basket.
- Check out when you’ve selected the documents you need.
| Please note: At the moment you can only request information that the national registers provide free of charge. For documents against payment, the prices displayed on our portal are provided by the national registers and are only indicative and subject to change. To request any of those documents, please go to the national register’s website, where the final price will be specified. |

Document delivery
Documents available for immediate delivery will be available for download in your browser.
You’ll receive any other documents by email as soon as they are delivered by the national registers. This may take up to 14 days.
Access to documents
Once a document is available for download in your browser, you can save it locally for your own use.
Documents sent by email will be available for download for 6 days from the time of delivery.

This service covers public and private limited liability companies and their branches registered in one of the EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.
It also covers companies registered as a European Company (Societas Europea or SE).
The legal forms are shown in the original language along with a short description that’s available in all official languages.
