La resolución de litigios en línea aplicada a la comercialización de servicios turísticos.
In February 2016 the European Commission launched an online platform to promote alternatives to litigation claims between consumers habitually residents in the EU and a trader established in the EU. The platform allows consumers to make claims on products or services purchased online and find a neutral third party (’dispute resolution body’) to handle the dispute. In this context, an analysis of the impact that such a system may have in resolving disputes in the tourism sector appears necessary.
