The article is about the concept of an average consumer in the marketing case law of the Nordic countries during the past decade, i.e. after the Directive on Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts came into force. According to Professor Bärlund, the concept is fairly coherent in the Nordics and has not changed much since the Directive came into force.
