This article deals with the development of private law under Union law in the field of consumer protection law. Among other things, it deals with the implementation of the Timeshare Directive through the Partial Usage Act 2011. The biggest change is the extension of the scope of this new law. Also, the reduction of the minimum running time and the registration of inventory are innovations. However, the pre-contractual information duties and the right of withdrawal continue to serve as protection instruments.
