Το νέο δίκαιο προστασίας του καταναλωτή (ελληνικό - ενωσιακό)

This revised and updated edition is a collective scientific work on the possible questions emerging in the context of implementation of Law 2251/1994, as amended by laws 4967/2022, 4933/2022, 5019/2023 and 5039/2023. After an analysis of the EU framework regarding consumer law, the book proceeds to an article-by-article commentary of the provisions of l. 2251/1994 - the basic legislative text for consumer protection in Greece. It examines, from a practical and scientific point of view, aspects arising from the law’s interpretation and application, both on national and European level. The book contains also separate chapters dealing with electronic commerce and the alternative dispute resolution. Although regulated by laws different from l. 2251/1994, these topics hold significant regulatory relevance to the latter. To end, chapters about specific forms of protection are included: the writers discuss the criminal protection of the consumer and the special protection for investors, borrowers and air passengers, in case they also hold the consumer status.
