The author describes the changes of German national unfair competition law due to the UCP Directive. He comes to the conclusion that legal consultants and practitioners face new challenges due to the now mandatory interpretation of the UWG in compliance with the UCP Directive. Hence, unfair competition law is undergoing constant changes: if one problem gets solved, seven new ones arise.
