Consumer Sales and Guarantees Directive, Article 3, 5.

The article analyses the need for recognising price reduction as a separate remedy. The authors are of the opinion that goal of price reduction, which has been foreseen in Directive 1999/44 and in Estonian law as a separate remedy, differs enough from the goals of other remedies, as other remedies, as a general rule, do not allow achieving the same results as price reduction.
