Consumer Sales and Guarantees Directive, link

The article focuses on the relevant changes brought by the new Civil Code in the field of consumer law. These changes are intended to provide consumers with greater protection in consumer contracts. The New Civil Code (the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code) is responding primarily to European Community law, namely Directive 2011/83 / EU on consumer rights being implemented through the Civil Code to the Czech law.
