Consumer Sales and Guarantees Directive, link

This article contains a general overview of sales contracts in which the consumer is involved as contractual part, the author focuses the attention on the set of legal protection instruments set out by Directive 1999/44/EC to defend the consumer as well as on the procedural discipline, in particular taking into account the powers granted to judges in related trials. Moreover the author considers some specific remedies, like the price reduction, and the exceptions introduced by the above mentioned Directive if compared to the Italian Code of Civil Procedure.
