The article focuses on changes in the Slovak national law influenced by European consumer law. Based on several examples, the article shows the deficiencies of the implementation of the European Directives 93/13/EEC, 87/102/EEC and 99/44/EC.

The Slovak implementation of the European Directive 99/44/EC shows several deficiences, which are discussed in the article.
