Unfair Contract Terms Directive, link

This article reflects on the possibilities of unilateral changes in business conditions after the coming into effect of the new Civil Code, Act No. 89/2012 Coll., particularly pursuant to the procedure under § 1752 of the new Civil Code. - probably the most common approach as of 1 January 2014, including in the banking sector. One section focuses on the relation between Section 1752 of the new Civil Code and Section 1814 of the new Civil Code, the latter being the regulation of forbidden provisions in consumer contracts and the key provision on transposition of Directive 93/13/EEC.
