Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, Annex I, 28.

This article is about the rules of advertising for children pursuant to Directive 2005/29. According to the Directive, direct sales offers and aggressive commercial practices aimed at children are prohibited. The article discusses whether the decisions of the courts have limited the scope for advertisers.
The author comes to the conclusion that even though various decisions of the court regarding advertising for children have been made, there are still some uncertainties. A ruling of the ECJ in this matter would be appreciated.
