This article focuses on the terms of contracts related to tourism. It provides a general overview of the most common issues with respect this kind of contractual relationships.
Furthermore, it describes several types of consumer contracts used in legal relationship between the trader and the consumer such as exchange contracts, timesharing contract, long-term accommodation contracts, contracts on provision of travel package, etc.
The article also describes a few mandatory obligations imposed on the tour operator, which are in favour of the consumer such as the obligation of the travel operator to inform the consumer on the details of the travel package or the obligation of the travel operator to agree on the insurance or bank guarantee for the travel package.
