Headnote
The transposition of Directive 2008/122 / EC on consumer protection in respect of certain aspects of shift contracts for tourist goods, the purchase of long-term holiday products, resale and exchange, Through RDL 8/2012, has allowed to eliminate the corsets imposed by the now repealed Law 42/1998 and establish a much more flexible legal framework that will aid the development of this sector as soon as the economic situation improves in Europe and the recovery of the holiday market begins.
