The book deals with questions regarding international private law and procedural issues applicable to consumer contracts. For instance, where can a consumer send a complaint against a trader in another state? Is it necessary that such dispute is challenged in court or are there other, less time-consuming and less expensive alternatives? Are Swedish rules applied or must the consumer be prepared that rules in a foreign legal system can be applied? Under what conditions does a foreign decision apply in their own state?

This book is primarily intended to be used at universities. It may also be used by others in the legal practical life when they come into contact with cross-border consumer issues.
