The book is a practical commentary to each provision of Directive 2009/22/EC.
The author focuses on the objectives pursued by the Directive. Also, matters such as the legal character of injunctions for the protection of consumers’ interests or cross-border proceedings for the infringement of collective consumer interests are discussed.
The implementation of the Directive into the Polish legal system is not discussed in the book, however, views established in the Polish doctrine on the mechanisms envisaged in Directive 2009/22/EC and its predecessor, Directive 98/27/EC, are reported.
