The author discusses the violations of a duty to disclose information and what the sanctions are in line with the objectives. The objective of the duty to disclose information provisions is to protect the consumer. The central question is what sanctions tie in with the objectives of the duties of disclosure. First the objectives are specified and discussed after which the duties of disclosure are divided into several categories. The author concludes that there are three different categories in which the duties are categorised and finally the related sanctions are connected.
