This article contains a general overview on the basic provisions of Directive 2011/83 before their implementation in the Bulgarian law. It provides detailed analysis of the new legal framework introduced by the Directive in terms of information requirements, distance and off-premises contracts, right of withdrawal, etc. and focuses on the most important amendment to be implemented in the national consumer protection law.
