Unfair Contract Terms Directive, link

The article aims to assess whether the principles laid down in Directive 93/13/EEC have been successfully implemented in the Estonian Law of Obligations Act, the national implementing law, or whether further regulation is required for conformity with the EU requirements. The article discusses the interpretation of both the articles of the Directive 93/13/EEC and national provisions. The author points out the shortcomings in the national regulation in force, some of which have been eliminated since the publication of the article, some of the issues, on the other hand, remain to date.

While reading the article, the reader should take into account the date of the article and the changes that have been made in the national implementing law. Regardless of this the article is still relevant.
