Practitioners wanted for evaluation of project applications
Each year, the Directorate General Justice and Consumers (DG Justice) spends funds of the programmes "Justice" (civil law, criminal law, fundamental rights) and "Rights, Equality, Citizenship" on projects that support the application of EU law.
Practitioners with good experience in their field of work are needed to help DG Justice to find out which of the projects applying for funds would be most beneficial for the practical work throughout the EU. Experience with project evaluations is not a pre-condition, since all selected experts will get a briefing on the technicalities of project evaluations before they start their evaluation.
Areas of expertise wanted include as different issues as EU civil and criminal law, legal training, data protection, electronic justice, rights of children/women/disabled persons/victims or drug control policy. Further information on the tasks to be carried out and the remuneration can be found here.
The webpage where applicants can register can be reached via this link. Applicants should indicate during registration that they are interested to evaluate projects in the programmes "Justice" and/or "Rights, Equality, Citizenship". There is no deadline for registering applications as experts for project evaluations, since DG Justice will select experts among all registered applicants whenever they are needed to evaluate project applications.
