    This brochure refers to the consumer’s rights regarding a travel package and the relevant provisions of the greek legislation. It makes reference to the definition of package travel and it further provides advice on choosing the best possible combination of price and travel. The relevant contract should include specific information in written and a term regarding the provision of guarantee. In addition the brochure states that no surcharges may be imposed 20 days prior to departure and that the organiser/travel agent is liable for the travel package. It further draws the attention on receiving a copy of the signed contract, on the contract to include any agreed term and on receiving a receipt in case of advance payment/ Last but not least, a consumer may assign his booking to someone else by notifying the organiser within a certain deadline and terminate a contract in case the organiser amends the terms considerably.
