    Proposition de loi modifiant la loi n° 2019-938 du 30 octobre 2018 pour l'équilibre et les relations commerciales dans le secteur agricole et alimentaire et une alimentation saine, durable et accessible à tous afin de préserver l’activité des entreprises alimentaires françaises.

    This bill is the result of the work of the monitoring group of Law No. 2018-938 of 30 October 2018 for balanced trade relations in the agricultural and food sector and healthy, sustainable and accessible food for all, known as the Egalim Law, set up by the Senate's Economic Affairs Committee following the promulgation of the law.

    Its authors intend to amend the Egalim law by:

    • Excluding products with a marked seasonal character from the framework for volume promotions and giving the DGCCRF the possibility of granting an exemption to certain companies with regard to the framework for promotions, considering the framework for promotions poses major difficulties for certain PMEs (art. 1);

    • Experimenting with a price revision clause in contracts of more than three months' duration for finished products made up of more than 50% raw materials (Article 2);

    • Conforming to the Government's ordinance to reform the law on agricultural cooperatives to the scope of its powers as defined by the Egalim Act (Article 3).
