The President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection considers practices infringing collective consumer interests (within the meaning of Art. 24 paragraph 2 of the Act on the protection of competition and consumer behaviour) of Polkomtel Limited Company based in Warsaw, as collecting payments for a service activated to consumers despite not obtaining  when the consumer wishes to be bound by a contract for the provision of telecommunications services, or explicit consent for an additional payment related to this service, which violates art. 10 paragraph 1 of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights and violates the collective interests of consumers.
