    In February, a consumer bought a Xiomi Viomi V2 robotic vacuum cleaner online for € 295 from an Austrian seller. In March, he noticed several malfunctions. Among other things, one of the side brooms stopped working, so he sent it for service. Shortly after the service, the repaired broom stopped working again.

    After several unsuccessful attempts by the consumer to contact the Austrian seller of the product (email, online form and telephone), the consumer turned to EPC Slovenia, which examined the case and handed it over to EPC Austria for further consideration. According to Directive 1999/44 / EC on certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees, the product was not in conformity with the contract.

    Following the intervention of EPC Austria, the seller proved to be cooperative and provided the consumer with a refund for the purchase. When the consumer notified EPC Slovenia that he had received the reimbursement for the seller, they closed the case.

    Februarja je potrošnik na spletu kupil robotski sesalnik Xiomi Viomi V2 s ceno 295 €. Marca je opazil več napak pri delovanju, med drugim je prenehala delovati ena od stranskih metlic, zato ga je poslal na servis. Kmalu po prevzemu iz servisa, je aparat znova začel »nagajati«, tudi popravljena metlica je spet prenehala delovati.

    Po večkratnih neuspešnih poskusih potrošnika navezave stika z avstrijskim prodajalcem sesalca (email, spletni obrazec in telefon), se je potrošnik obrnil na EPC Slovenija, ki je primer preučil in ga predal v nadaljno obravnavo EPC Avstrija. Glede na Direktivo 1999/44/EC o nekaterih vidikih prodaje potrošniškega blaga in z njim povezanih garancij, izdelek ni bil skladen s pogodbo.

    Prodajalec se je po posredovanju EPC Avstrija izkazal za kooperativnega, potrošniku je tudi zagotovil povračilo za nakup. Ko nas je potrošnik obvestil o prejemu nakazila s strani prodajalca, smo primer zaključili.
