Results of study published: Children's involvement in criminal, civil and administrative judicial proceedings

In July 2015, the European Commission published the final results of a study sought to gather all available data/statistics in Member States (and on international databases) on children's involvement in justice, and, in order to allow for accurate interpretation of the data, to describe the legislation and policy in place for children's involvement in justice.  Given the scope of the study, work was phased and the criminal justice reports were published in 2014.  Further to the June 2014 publication of the reports on children's involvement in criminal judicial proceedings, the study has now been completed.

In parallel, the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) carried out Link opens in new windowprimary research among judicial and other practitioners. All data/statistics gathered is available at Link opens in new windowhere.
