Ahead of the December shopping period, DG Justice and Consumers of the European Commission launched a chatbot and an escape room on consumer rights as part of the #yourEUright campaign.
The chatbot - which at this time is being tested in French - aims to answer consumers’ questions related to specific problems they may encounter, be it with online or offline shopping. In addition to interacting with Izzy, consumers also have the opportunity to play the online game and learn more about four specific consumer rights (legal guarantee, 14-day return, product safety and fair contracts).
