The monograph discusses the existing provisions relating to the rights of consumers and the obligations of enterprises, in particular those operating on the Internet.

In particular, it covers the following issues: the new legal framework for off-premises and distance agreements concluded with consumers (including agreements concluded via the Internet), the information obligations of enterprises towards consumers (also with regard to agreements concluded in typical situations), the right to withdraw from contracts (in particular, the deadline by which the consumer can exercise this right), and the rules and costs associated with the return of benefits after termination of the cotract.

The monograph also describes amendments to the Polish Civil Code, particularly in relation to warranties and guarantees.
