Because of the implementation of Directive 2011/83/EU, the section 7.1.9A DCC will be replaced by a new section 6.5.2A DCC. The author gives an overview of the criteria which will come into force with the new regulation concerning contracting with consumers at a distance and will shine a light on some aspects of the new regulations. The author goes into several duties of information disclosure and some practical questions concerning distance-contracting with consumers.
