  • Headnote
The author refers to the cross-border claim, while highlighting the fact that Directive 2009/22, which was implemented with Ministerial Decision Z1-/2012, has amended the prerequisites of such claim. The relevant MD legalizes a non-national, EU consumers association to file a collective claim for violations that have taken place in the greek territory. In particular, these associations have the right to request a) the omission of the supplier’s illegal behavior and b) interim measures. Thus, the acknowledgement of this right is limited to the strict minimum necessary. Moreover, the courts and the competent authorities consider as qualified entities only those included in the respective list published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
