You can search for judgments in the database by using the following criteria: |

The Constitutional Court
|
- content - by indicating where the expression or phrase is used (e.g. in the grounds, dissenting opinion or introduction; choose whether to use declensions or not);
- document details - reference number, place of publication (e.g. all, Journal of Laws (Dziennik Ustaw), Official Gazette (Monitor Polski), or Official Compilation of the Case-law of the Constitutional Court (Orzecznictwo TK Zbiór Urzędowy); (year, number, item No)); date of the judgment or choose the ‘from-to’ field;
- composition of the bench;
- normative acts;
- whether a dissenting opinion (votum separatum) was recorded;
- you can filter the results by:
- the stage in the proceedings (principal hearing, notification, preliminary check);
- the time period (last year, last 5 years, last 10 years, from 16/10/1997, from 1986);
- the type of document (decision, interim decision, ruling, verdict);
- the repository (K - applications to determine the constitutionality of statutes or ratified international agreements or the compatibility of statutes with international agreements whose ratification required prior consent granted by statute;
Kp - applications of the President of Poland to determine the constitutionality of statutes prior to their signing or international agreements prior to their ratification; P - legal questions concerning the constitutionality of normative acts or their compatibility with ratified international agreements or a statute; Kpt - applications to settle disputes on jurisdiction between central constitutional authorities of the state; Pp - applications to determine the constitutionality of the objectives or activities of political parties;
U - applications to determine the constitutionality of legal provisions enacted by central state bodies or their compatibility with ratified international agreements or statutes; SK - constitutional complaints; M - applications of the Marshal of the Sejm (lower house of the Polish Parliament) to determine whether there is any impediment to the exercise of office by the President of Poland and whether the Marshal of the Sejm should be temporarily entrusted with the performance of the President's duties);
- the year;
- the number of judges on the bench (full bench, five-judge bench, three-judge bench);
- the composition of the bench (you can choose a specific judge from the list).

|
- a word used in the judgment or grounds;
- the reference number;
- the type of judgment - e.g. verdict, decision, resolution, order;
- the date delivered - either by indicating a specific date or by searching for judgments from a specific time period (from-to);
- the chamber (chambers operating under the current and previous legal frameworks; e.g. Civil Chamber, Criminal Chamber, Professional Accountability Chamber, Labour and Social Security Chamber, Labour, Social Security and Public Affairs Chamber, Military Chamber, Administrative, Labour and Social Security Chamber, Extraordinary Review and Public Affairs Chamber, Disciplinary Chamber);
- the judge on the bench;
- the presiding judge;
- the rapporteur; co-rapporteur; author of the grounds;
- the composition of the bench (e.g. one-judge bench; three-judge bench; five-judge bench; seven-judge bench; bench of an entire chamber of the Supreme Court; bench of combined chambers of the Supreme Court; bench of the entire Supreme Court).

|
- searched words;
- searched words with an indication of where they appear (e.g. anywhere, in the operative part, in the grounds);
- the ‘declensions’ option - this specifies whether the search should be carried out with or without declensions of the searched words;
- the reference number;

- the date of the judgment in YYYY-MM-DD format - you can also use the ‘from-to’ date range;
- the judge (you can refine the search by indicating the function - e.g. presiding judge, rapporteur, author of the grounds);
- filter the results by choosing the status of the judgment - ‘yes/no’ option (final judgment, judgment closing proceedings, with arguments, with grounds, with a dissenting opinion);
- the type of body against which the complaint is made (search the list of bodies by clicking on the magnifying glass icon);
- thematic keywords (search for keywords by clicking on the magnifying glass icon);
- the provisions cited (legal act, provision);
- has the judgment has been published in the official compilation of judgments? (Year, number, item number);
- has the judgment has been the subject of a note? (A note (glosa) is an academic comment on a court judgment.)

On the website of the Central Database of Administrative Court Judgments, the Supreme Administrative Court states that judgments are made available in the online database of judgments solely for information and education purposes, and that the database is not an official compilation of judgments. The judgments in the database have been anonymised in accordance with the objectives of the Personal Data Protection Act and other specific regulations.
