What does the Bulgarian insolvency register offer?

The Bulgarian insolvency register (регистър по несъстоятелност) consists of three parts:

  1. The list of receivers (списък на синдиците) - accessible via the website of the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice.
  2. Sales announcements (обяви за продажби)
  3. Insolvency proceedings applicable to traders
  4. Stabilisation proceedings (производство по стабилизация)
  5. Insolvency proceedings applicable to entrepreneurs
  6. Stabilisation proceedings applicable to entrepreneurs

Access to the Bulgarian insolvency register is free of charge.

How can I search the Bulgarian insolvency register?

You can search for a receiver (синдик) by name on the website.

How to carry out a search by sale

The sales bulletin (бюлетин по продажбите) can be found on the website of the Ministry of the Economy.

The following criteria can be used to search:

  • Case number, year, court, unique identification code (ЕИК) of debtor (длъжник), name of debtor, name of receiver, city, type of sale, date.
  • Pending sales and past sales are included.

AISTN (АИСТН) was set up by the Ministry of Justice to comply with the requirements of the amendments to the Commercial Act (Търговски закон).
