General information on finding beneficial owners

About this service

When the authorization is available and you are authorised to access this information, you will be able to get information about the beneficial owners of companies, legal entities, trusts or legal arrangements registered in national registers of EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway using the ‘Find beneficial ownership information’ service.

It is part of the Beneficial Ownership Registers Interconnection System (BORIS), set up in line with Directive (EU) 2015/849 and as amended by Directive (EU) 2018/843.

How it works

To search for a beneficial owner:

Search by entity name and/or entity registration number.
You’ll see a list of results matching your search with the price and respective beneficial ownership Information.
Select the Beneficial Ownership (BO) Information you want and add them to your basket.
Check out when you’ve selected the BO Information you need.

Document delivery

BO Information documents will be available for download in your browser.

You will be notified by email of the availability of documents as soon as they are delivered by the national registers.

Access to documents

Once a BO Information document is available for download in your browser, you can save it locally for your own use.

BO Information documents will be available for download for 6 days from the time of delivery.
