The Netherlands have implemented the EC-Directive in the existing Act on Legal Aid. This is done by Act of 19 february 2005 (Stb. 2005, 90)

, which has come into force on 2 march 2005. Since that date, new articles 23a - 23k provide for legal aid in cross-border European cases. Of course this was already possible from the earlier moment the Directive had to be implemented in the Dutch legal system: 30 november 2004.
Article 14(2), first indent - Names and addresses of the competent receiving or transmitting authorities
Article 14(2), second indent - Receiving and transmitting authorities' geographical areas of jurisdiction
The Raad voor Rechtsbijstand (Legal Aid Board) is both the sending and the receiving authority.
Article 14(2), third indent - Available methods of receiving applications
