Datenschutz neu: Individuelle und kollektive Rechtsdurchsetzung.

 

With the entry into force of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), there was widespread uncertainty about its application in Austria. Even the national implementation of the regulation shows a wide variety of interpretations. This article deals with the enforcement mechanisms of Austria and Germany and places the Regulation in context with the Injunctions Directive 2009/22/EC.
