    Vergleichende Werbung

    The Austrian provision on comparative advertising was already based in its old version on the transposition of Directive 2006/114/EC on misleading and comparative advertising. The conditions under which comparative advertising is permitted in the Member States are therefore conclusively regulated at Union level. On the basis of this understanding, this article defines central terms according to the criteria established by the Union legislator.
