Package Travel Directive, Article 3

Because of the flood of complaints against travel agencies and tour operators at the time of writing, the author sets out their statutory information obligations. In particular the obligations deriving from the Regulation on travel agency insurance and the Regulation on provisions regarding the practice of the travel agency profession which implement Directive 90/314 are covered. Additionally the author discusses corresponding case law and elaborates the effects these comprehensive obligations have on entrepreneurs.
