This article presents a detailed analysis of unfair contract terms from the perspective of ex officio examinations, utilising both an EU law-based perspective, as well as drawing on Hungarian materials. It uses these to present a comprehensive interpretation of its subject. The 93/13/EEC plays a central part in the article.
