This article serves as an overview and summary of the “Hungarian Cases Before the CJEU” conference that occurred in 2019, at the ELTE University of Budapest. In particular, the first and eleventh presentation touched upon the subject of Directive 93/13/EEC, both in relation to the Hungarian foreign currency credit disputes that had been prominent since 2008.
