The author goes into detail on the regulation of sale and purchase in Directive 1999/44/EC and Directive 2019/771/EU. The author also analyses in a comparative prism the existing solutions in Germany, France and Spain, among others. Nuno Manuel Pinto de Oliveira recommends conceptual harmonisation and integration in the existing dogmatic frameworks, embracing the change inherent to the new Directive.
