This section of the book analyses the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the performance of contracts. The paper points out that a number of contract performance problems were not even caused by the pandemic itself, but by the measures taken by governments to manage the pandemic, such as the quarantine regime, and import or export restrictions. The paper analyses the impact of the pandemic on the performance of the contracts in terms of consumer contractual legal relationships and peculiarities of civil-commercial contractual legal relations.
