The article focuses on several key aspects of the purchase agreement and the consumer purchase agreement within the meaning of the new civil law legislation in the Czech republic, namely Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Czech Civil Code (hereinafter as the "Czech Civil Code"), together with legal aspect brought by Directive 2011/83/EU to the Czech Civil Code, effective as of 1 January 2014, as well as the effects of Directive 1999/44/ES on the Czech Civil Code.
